On April 14th, an in-person community networking event will take place at the CanMore Together Hub space in Canmore, Alberta. It aims to help people who struggle with meeting new people (as well as those who just love people) develop self-confidence and connect with others in person, in real life.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet locals from Canmore and Calgary, experience networking in small groups, and learn practical tools to meet new people. The event will also include free time to mingle, a potluck and live music by Tru Guy Stefan. Another special guest, Tracy Delfs will lead a meditation as well. Please bring your appetite and a food item to share.
Your facilitator, Tony Esteves – who also performs in a circus – met at least one new stranger a day for a full year, and will share his experiences and the most practical tips for meeting people. Upon registration, attendees will receive a free digital copy of his book, “Talk2MorePeople: Change Your Life by Meeting People.”
This event is for those who want to improve their communication skills, feel more comfortable meeting new people, and have some more adventure in their lives. Join us to experience authentic networking, live music, a potluck, and to help create human connection.
